Grace Kelly and Elizabeth Taylor were regular visitors to the island back in the 60’s, and this has only continued into the modern society with regular high status visitors. The Kardashians are regular travellers here, as well as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber & Elon Musk. While Mykonos might not be a direct flight away from the likes of NYC or LA, it is a direct flight from major European hubs including London, Paris, Rome and of course Athens – the capital city of Greece. In fact, getting to Mykonos is much easier than some other popular Mediterranean islands, where several flights, ferries and and long private transfers are required. And, as Mykonos is a fairly small island, you can reach the town of Mykonos from the airport in just 7 mins!
