WHAT ARE THE BEST & WORST BACHELOR PARTY & BACHELORETTE PARTY ACTIVITIES IN TORONTO?
We’ve seen it all! After years in the bachelor and bachelorette party business, we know what works and what is just plain awkward. So let’s go through the list of the best and worst Toronto bachelorette / bachelor experiences.
The Best
Without sounding too cliché, we love all the experiences we offer in Toronto, but there are some which just stand out among the rest. Take for example, our scavenger hunts; where your group is separated into 2 teams and matched against each other, accomplishing a bunch of ridiculous challenges in downtown Toronto. A lot of fun!
We also love a good pedal pub tour. What’s better than having drinks while roaming around the streets of Toronto?
If you have a bit more time, our bachelorette groups LOVE the winery tour in Niagara-on-the-lake. Return transportation from Toronto + 3 wineries and charcuterie…yes, please!
In the evening, you can party on a boat like a rockstar on evening party cruise on Lake Ontario. Or, it’s always a good time watching your friends embarrass themselves by singing their hearts out at a karaoke party.
In terms of entertainment, you can’t go wrong with a private strip show. Well, I suppose you could go wrong if the significant other of the bride or groom specifically vetoed it…but that’s a whole other topic!
The Worst
Partying at home for the entire night, is usually not a great idea. Often someone will say something along the lines of “bro, why don’t we just get a siiiick hotel room and party there are night?”. While spending a chunk of time at your place of accommodation is not a bad idea, but if you spend all your time there, the energy of the party will collapse. You’ll end up passed out by 10pm.
Playing board games. Yes, we’ve heard about groups wanting to play board games during a bachelor or bachelorette party *facepalm*. Unless there’s some kind of radical twist to these games, we do not recommend them. If you’re into games that don’t suck, and have bachelor / bachelorette party twist, add our bachelor or bachelorette pub crawl to your package.
Another terrible idea is assuming that “everyone has matured and they’re all over the whole partying thing” and only consider “sophisticated” experiences. First of all, we at Carte Blanche Parties die a bit inside when we hear someone say they’re “over partying”. Secondly, it’s RARELY true. We’ve hosted bachelorette and bachelor parties of all ages and life situations, and we can tell you that everyone loves a good party to let loose.

For some things yes, but most things, no.
Yes, the rumours are true – Toronto housing is extremely expensive! But aside from housing, prices for Toronto activities, restaurants and entertainment aren’t out of the ordinary. Your bachelor or bachelorette party shouldn’t cost you more than it would in any other major Canadian city.
May through September is best, but anytime will be a great time!
Being one of the largest cities in North America, there are endless activities operating all year round in the city. However, we always suggest planning your trip between May-September when the days are long; and you can take advantage of the beautiful Toronto harbourside. The Toronto International Film Festival (tiff) takes place in September, which is when the city is at its most vibrant.
The Distillery District & King St West
Head to the Distillery District and try out some of the best breweries, boutique distillers & hip indie restaurants in a modern, artsy atmosphere. Later in the evening, head to King St West and visit the most popular nightclubs, bars & live music joints in the city.
Toronto Island
The Toronto skyline is iconic, so we’d recommend taking a ferry across to Toronto island for (what we believe) is the best view of the city – harbour, skyline, you can see it all here. You can add the Ferry to Toronto Island option in your Toronto party package with us.
Stay central!
We’d recommend staying as centrally located in the downtown area as possible. In other words, try to find accommodation within the rectangle formed by Church Street and Bathurst, and by Dundas and the waterfront. The majority of our Toronto experiences take place within Old Toronto, Harbourside & the Distillery District.
